Happy 43rd birthday, Winona Ryder! The Minnesota native left a mark with her roles in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands and shortly graduated into more mature characters in films such as Dracula, The Age of Innocence (for which she won a Best Supporting Role Golden Globe), and Girl, Interrupted.

With an eccentric portfolio on hand (not to mention countless award nominations) it was only a matter of time before the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce bestowed her a star on the Walk of Fame. Up next? We can’t wait to see Ryder in 2015’s Experimenter, in which she plays Sasha Menkin—one of social psychologist Stanley Milgram’s students.
