Cara Delevingne Stars In DKNY’s Downtown-Cool Spring 2015 Ad Campaign

It-Brit model Cara Delevingne may not be a true born-and-bred New Yorker, but she may as well be. The model-actress-singer-designer is as international as they come, with a career that’s taken her all across the globe. So who better than jet-setter Delevingne to rep one of the world’s most international cities and its coolest street wear brand?

After seasons of working with DKNY, including one very downtown-chic #CaraD4DKNY capsule collection later, Delevingne is fronting DKNY’s spring 2015 ad campaign, along with models Binx Walton, Xiao Wen, and Sam Rollingson (all of whom have connections to New York City).

Shot by photog Gregory Harris at the Coleman State Skatepark under the Manhattan bridge, the campaign is a melting pot of “modern classics, sport elements, and playful geometric styles for the always moving, multicultural, multitasking New Yorker.” As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and these perfectly encapsulate the very soul of New York. #WeAreNYC!

12-Year-Old Romeo Beckham Fronts Burberry’s New Festive Campaign

“Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?”

Well, this winter, the answer will be billboards, magazines, and Burberry’s social media sites since Romeo Beckham has been signed as the face of the British brand’s holiday advertising campaign.

This is actually the second Burberry campaign for Victoria and David Beckham’s 12-year-old son, and when Romeo made his debut in the brand’s spring 2013 campaign at age 10, Burberry designer and CEO Christopher Bailey described him as a “joy to work with.” Young Romeo obviously has photogeneity in his DNA and brought a sophisticated swagger to a classic Bailey-designed trench coat and checked cashmere scarf in the first image from the holiday ad campaign (above). He joins stars such as Emma Watson (who has appeared in her own Burberry ads), Hailee Steinfeld, Dakota and Elle Fanning, and Chloë Grace Moretz in the ranks of people who became fashion darlings before they were old enough to drive.

Whether other boys his age are prepared to abandon their jeans, sneakers, and T-shirts for the designer label remains an open question, but there will no doubt be plenty of 12-year-old girls ready to play Juliet to this Romeo.

Elisabeth Moss, Anjelica Huston Highlight Personal Style in Gap’s Fall Ad Campaign

Chances are you have a uniform that makes you fell unequivocally like you. Whether it’s a flowy dress and heels or jeans and sneakers, wearing some version of this ensemble feels at once normal and comfortable. Gap is celebrating everyone’s unique take on normal dressing with its new ad campaign, which is all about the individuality of personal style.

“Finding your own version of ‘dress normal’ is an art—my normal is different from your normal, and that’s the essence of the campaign,” Seth Farbam, Gap’s global chief marketing officer, says of the campaign. “This fall, Gap celebrates dressing for yourself and finding those perfect items—a pair of jeans, a T-shirt—that make you feel confident to be your most authentic self.”

The retailer has enlisted the help of some stylish celebs for the campaign, including Elisabeth Moss, Jena Malone, Zosia Mamet, Luke Grimes, and Anjelica Huston. More celebs will be revealed closer to the official Sept. 2 launch date. All of the ads, which focus on what Gap calls autumn’s standout trend, black denim, bear slogans like, “Dress like no one is watching,” and “Let your actions speak louder than your clothes.”

The David Beckham x H&M swimwear collection includes three different swimsuit styles: longer boardshorts, thigh-length swimshorts, and barely-there swim briefs—all which are available in his line’s signature neutral tones. “I’m thrilled to be introducing these great swimwear pieces ready for the summer,” Beckham says. “We’ve worked hard to create new classics for men, with great fit, comfort and also style.”
