In this episode, we see her slowly transform through her wardrobe choices. “We started her in dark navy pajamas, then moved to the black Armani suit, then on to lighter colors as the show progressed,” Scandal costume designer, Lyn Paolo, tells InStyle. “Now she’s doing her ‘Olivia Pope’ thing!” By the end of the episode, she’s even wearing a white jacket (Alexander McQueen)—the ultimate Gladiator look.

Friends Reunion Alert! Watch Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow Get Back Together on Kimmel

For fans who have spent the past decade waiting for a Friends movie, or better yet a Friends reunion, that wish finally came true on Wednesday night. Well, kind of. Jennifer Aniston visited Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her latest film Life of Crime, but her pal Jimmy Kimmel had a bit of a surprise for her during her visit. He had penned a fan fiction script for an episode of Friends, and created a replica of the famous kitchen to boot! And who better to act out a scene from the sitcom than Rachel Green herself?

While Kimmel’s Friends script wasn’t exactly of the best quality (he took on the role of David Schwimmer’s Ross) and he tried to get a faux-annoyed Aniston to wear a Rachel cut-inspired wig (she declined), the actress got by with a little help from, well, her friends. Both Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow popped up to revive their roles as Monica and Phoebe, respectively, and played along with the bit before Kimmel took it just one step too far. Even if his fan fic was lame, he still gave us the gift of seeing the gals of Friends back together again, and for that we’re grateful. (Alright, Friends fellas, you’re next!)

Happy 53rd Birthday, Michael J. Fox! Take a Look Back at the Actor’s Family Ties Days

Happy 53rd birthday, Michael J. Fox! With a lengthy acting roster that boasts some of the greatest movie and television characters of a generation—like Back to the Future’s zealous Marty McFly and the precocious, well-dressed Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties—the Canadian-American actor has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 40 years. Fox has earned tributes, including multiple Emmys and Golden Globes, for his performances as a lead actor as well as guest roles on shows such as The Good Wife, Rescue Me, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Most recently, the actor starred in NBC’s The Michael J. Fox Show, which ran for one season.

The husband and father-of-four is also an aggressive advocate for Parkinson’s disease research since being diagnosed with the condition in 1991. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000 to raise awareness and resources for a cure and gathered support from many of Hollywood’s most influential players. In 2007, Fox was named among Time’s 100 people “whose power, talent or moral example is transforming the world” for his work with the disease.

Beyoncé Says Farewell to Blond and Goes Back to Brunette

Queen Bey has gone brunette! While the warmer spring temps have most stars lightening their strands, Beyoncé took things in the opposite direction by swapping her platinum hue for a warm chestnut shade. The star’s solid blond quickly became her trademark after she debuted the look back in 2010, and upon returning to her roots four years later, she still looks #flawless as ever.

Beyoncé watched her mother run a salon since she was young, so it isn’t surprising that she’s open to taking serious hair risks. While she was working on her self-titled visual album, the star shocked all of us with her short pixie, and has no problem telling her glam squad exactly what she wants. “I grew up in my mom’s hair salon, so I’m a frustrated hairstylist,” she previously joked to InStyle. “My stylist always tells me: ‘Can you just sit down and let me do my job? I don’t tell you how to sing.’” Looks like girls really do run the world—and Beyoncé is the one calling the shots at the salon!
